Im curious to know about the rear fender skirts were they ever used on a Tucker? Ive seen lots of kit car Tuckers that have them like the Ida Tucker, Chicks Kit has them too. Ive seen some pictures with Tuckers that had them too. And didnt the Tin Goose have fender Skirts at one time also?

Wow... are there any pics of these cars?...
There was a guy years ago (about 20) in the club that had
bought a fiberglass set and was going to build one... Must have bought it from him
as he said it was fromthe molds they used in the movie.
He also owned and was restoring a Studebaker He sent me images
of the fiblerglass set... never knew if he built the fiberglass one....
Has anyone?...

I've seen the Ida cars VERY nice.... and I've seen a couple
on eBay ... believe they may have been from the movie...
One was green and had no windows or interior... Just wanted to know if there are any other than Idas complete and driving around... With that 57 metal body kit
makes you wish someone would make a Tucker metal kit but obviously too much money with too few that would buy.
Again I had heard years ago when I was a club memeber that a man had all the dies in a warehouse up in Minnisota or Michigan?... Sure it was just a rumor.... But how sweet that would be..... Any info on the dies
where they sold for scrap at the auction when they were shut down?
Anyone know?....

I have photos of the car Chick is putting together. Also the cars Ida was selling came from the came mold Chick owns. Each body fiberglass shell costs about $15,000. If you will like to see pictures you can contact me and I will email you photos. Just leave me a private message here at the club with your email adress

Ida just made it so you can open the doors and he made a frame for it to use a Cadillac engine on the back.
